Care Plus / Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program (PESP)
"262-HELP"


The Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program (PESP), commonly referred to as 262-HELP, is a comprehensive screening program equipped to consult with schools and families in order to assess the mental health and safety risks of students. 

Contacting PESP can be done by calling 201-262-HELP (4357).  PESP is available 24 hours a day/7days a week. 

Schools and families should be aware that there is a charge for PESP services
